Leola has been actively involved in the community for many years, providing volunteer Board service and expertise to numerous Santa Cruz County non-profits in the areas of Board and fund development; children and families; education; performing arts; and philanthropy.  She is the recipient of the 2010 United Way Community Hero Award and the 2011  Santa Cruz County Bar Association Pro Bono Award. Leola  is not presently practicing law, having moved to Inactive Status effective 1/30/13, but she remains available for non-legal volunteer work for non-profit organizations.

Monica Katz LaBoskey

Monica joined Katz & Lapides, APC as a Partner in 2015, after six years of civil litigation practice at two well-regarded firms in the San Francisco-Berkeley area.  Monica's practice focuses on personal injury claims and contract litigation, including insurance denials, real estate and lease disputes.  In her free time, Monica volunteers at a non-profit legal clinic and is active with the Brandeis University Alumni Association.
